A Period of Illness

As you’ll see from the gap since the last news item, the last six months have been a blank in terms of news (and updating this site). That’s because from May I had six months of pretty poor health. Back in the 1990s I had Glandular Fever, which went undiagnosed while I did some of the hardest work and travel of my life. As a result, my health since then has at times been unreliable. The virus particularly affected my liver, so that I get bouts of nausea and vomiting, headaches and exhaustion. That all descended upon me again in May, for reasons that i don’t really understand, and it has taken me until now to get myself reasonably okay again.

As a result, I had to cancel a lot of my teaching commitments, which was very frustrating. Altogether I had to cancel 9 or 10 weeks of retreats and courses. Many apologies to those of you who had booked on those events. I’m very sorry not to have had the chance to see you.

Anyway, things are now on the up, and I’m cautiously making plas again, as well as beginning to reduce the mountain of correspondence that I haven’t been able to answer. So if you have written to me and haven’t had a reply, please be patient for just a little longer…
